My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the blessings which have come into my life, and I wish to acknowledge God as their source and Christian Science as the means through which they came.

Through the tender ministrations of this Science I was healed of a nervous breakdown. I had been in a highly nervous condition for five years. Four doctors had been unable to give me anything more than temporary relief. Then I took up the study of Christian Science, and although the healing was not immediate, it was complete. Whereas previously I was hardly able to go out and needed sedatives when I did, I was restored to a life of great activity and usefulness.

In prayerfully working for this healing I was greatly helped by Mrs. Eddy's definition of "error" (Science and Health, p. 472): "Error is unreal because untrue. It is that which seemeth to be and is not." I knew that I was the victor over error insofar as I never dignified it by giving it reality or reason for existence. After my healing I was led to develop and use a musical talent which had lain dormant for twenty years, and I now have the great joy of serving God as organist in a Christian Science church.
