"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, Pref., p. vii). This has been proved in our family for over thirty years. One healing for which I am deeply grateful was that of a severe burn on the hand of our baby son. Through Christian Science treatment the pain was destroyed in a few minutes, and before long the hand was completely healed. This passage from Psalms (37:3—5) has been a very enlightening help to me when the way has seemed dark: "Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

I have been healed through Christian Science of inharmonious bodily functions, influenza, and a broken leg. Discouragement and apathy have been overcome. I am most grateful for the support of my husband, family, and friends during a healing of nervous breakdown. As negative thinking was replaced with a positive realization of Truth the healing took place. Much gratitude is due the practitioners who helped me at different times during this period, which proved to be one of much spiritual growth.

I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, whose steps we are to follow, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who presented Christian Science to the world.—(Mrs.) Bess L. Winegardner, Van Nuys, California.
