PEACE OF GOD

Ruth Powell Vaughn

My God is Love, is All. No evil can befall
This heavenly grace;
The place whereon I stand is safe within His hand,
A holy place.

My God is perfect Mind; here benefice I find,
Instilling peace.
All loveless strife shall yield to God the battlefield,
And war must cease.
