My heart overflows with gratitude...

My heart overflows with gratitude to God for Christian Science and our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, as well as for the many wonderful healings I have experienced. Fear, discouragement, and lack of sleep robbed me of joyful living for a number of years. One day a friend of mine, seeing my need, encouraged me to visit a Christian Science practitioner. After my visit I felt that I had been lifted out of darkness into light. This light, I learned, was that of the Christ, Truth, as revealed by our Leader. It completely healed me of my difficulty.

About three years ago, while planning a trip to Europe and preparing the necessary traveling papers, I was asked if I had a vaccination card, which is customarily needed upon re-entering the United States. Desiring not to undergo vaccination, I decided to seek the help of a practitioner, and he assured me that our heavenly Father would show me the way to proceed. I was led to obtain a letter from my branch church showing my membership there. Then I trustingly departed on my trip.

Great joy was experienced during my stay abroad, and I was able through my understanding and application of Christian Science to help relatives with whom I was staying. When I was seated in the plane for my homeward flight, I thought I should do some prayerful work about re-entering this country. My prayer was simple, "Father, show me the way."
