THE GREAT TEACHER

I send my child to school with Thee;
And what foe can I fear?
For all responsibility
Is Thine, Thou ever-near.

No mortal mind could teach my child,
For he is taught of Thee;
And Thou art ever present, Lord,
Through all eternity.

So, happily, I face the day
Without a fear or care.
No matter where my child should go,
I know that Thou art there.
