LOVE'S PROTECTION
Randy is in the sixth grade in school. When he was a little boy, his mother took him to the Christian Science Sunday School, where he has since learned many truths regarding God and man.
One day he came home from school at lunch time very much upset. When his mother asked him what the trouble was, Randy replied that some of the boys at school had ganged up on him and hit him, but he did not know why.
Mother explained to Randy that the boys actually were God's, divine Love's, children, His spiritual ideas, and therefore reflected love, harmony, joy, and right activity. Because all in their true being were spiritual ideas, all must be loving and lovable. One of God's ideas could not possibly hurt another idea, or be hurt. Mother added that Randy had nothing to fear because God is everywhere, ever caring for His children. If he would hold to these truths, he would be protected.
