It is with deep gratitude for the immeasurable good that Christian Science is doing throughout the world and for what it has done for our family that this testimony is written.

While my wife and I have attended Churches of Christ, Scientist, exclusively for over twenty-five years, it was not until we found it expedient on several occasions to call upon a Christian Science practitioner for help for our daughter that our interest in this healing truth was aroused. The reference from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy given to us by a practitioner (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive," resulted in an instantaneous healing.

I was quickly healed of the social drinking habit and instantaneously healed of the smoking habit of many years' standing on hearing the testimony of a consecrated worker in Christian Science at a Wednesday testimony meeting. The speaker made the statement that prior to being healed of smoking he had been laboring under the false belief that smoking was a manly habit.
