Do we guard and direct our speech to give utterance to more of Truth?
OUR CONVERSATION
It is illuminating to ask ourselves at the end of the day, "How much of my conversation today has been based upon the knowledge of man's spiritual identity and being as the child of God?" and, "Have I responded to every opportunity to speak a word of comfort or cheer to those who need it?"
In the Bible the word "conversation" means manner of life, living, or behavior. And a standard dictionary gives as an archaic definition of conversation "manner of living." Christian Science alters one's manner of living, or conduct, by changing his concept of existence from a material to a spiritual basis. It teaches that man's life is the expression of God's being, and that the individualized manifestation of Life is not a mortal
personality, but perfect, immortal man, the image and likeness of God.
