In deep gratitude I think of the many blessings which have come to me in Christian Science. In 1937 I had a healing for which I still thank God daily.

For twenty-three years I suffered with nervous twitching in my legs and arms. Many nights I walked the floor and was unable to get any sleep. I was often under medical treatment, and the doctor always prescribed morphine and medicine for me, but I was opposed to the use of morphine. In March, 1935, things became so bad that I could get no sleep, and I walked about at night for four weeks. Then, following some further medical treatment, I was relieved for a period. In September, 1935, I had a very serious attack of mental trouble, but in the meantime I had heard of Christian Science, and a practitioner helped me patiently and selflessly to overcome this trouble. In 1937 the nervous twitching came again, and I walked about for eight nights. Then I asked the practitioner for help, and that night I slept peacefully. I had only one treatment, and I have never again had nervous twitching. I sleep peacefully and dreamlessly.

I am deeply grateful for this wonderful healing, and I thank my Father-Mother God, and the kind practitioner.
