With gratitude for having been led, some years ago, to the study of Christian Science, I send this testimony.

The most outstanding experience, and one that we shall always remember and never cease to be grateful for, was at the birth of our second child. A passage that was particularly helpful may be found in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, page 557, lines 6 to 21.

When our little girl was born I was very grateful to have with me at the time as nurse a firm and loyal Christian Scientist. The baby was a long time in coming, and at times the pain seemed more than I could bear. But when all was over, everything was fine, and I was filled with joy. The baby was born just before noon, and I was up that evening and each morning and evening for the next few days. On the eighth day I walked with an aunt to a near-by park, a distance of three blocks each way. Although very happy about this experience, I was not quite satisfied, and hoped that sometime we might have an opportunity to make a better demonstration.
