While walking as it seemed in "the valley of the shadow of death," I found Christian Science. I was suffering from what doctors called chronic catarrh, was also experiencing deep sorrow, and my youngest child was threatened with blindness due to aftereffects of scarlet fever. All these inharmonious conditions were healed at once. All I had to do was to stop using medicine and to accept God as All-in-all. This I did and began the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. These healings occurred many years ago, and Christian Science has since been my only medicine, my help financially and otherwise, and has never failed.

In our family we have had many physical healings. Heart trouble, neuritis, severe headaches, stomach trouble, sore throat, ptomaine poisoning, typhoid fever, scarlet fever, and many other discords have yielded to this Science.

I was healed of a physical difficulty which seemed very stubborn, but after having treatment from several practitioners in addition to my own constant study and obedience to divine Principle, I was healed, proving the words of the Master, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Another healing was of appendicitis, which yielded to the truth in a week's time.
