I am one of those who have come through great tribulation, but today I realize that it was for my own growth, and that from what I have learned I may help others to realize God's allness.
About a year ago a very painful skin infection appeared on my face and different parts of my body. However, the pain vanished almost immediately as I turned my thought to "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468). I am sincerely grateful to say that through the study and application of Christian Science this condition was quickly overcome and completely healed. I was admonished: "Be not afraid. God's child has neither spot nor blemish."
My daily prayer is that I may be ever grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. I am deeply grateful for the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, and for the untiring, kind, and devoted service of a Christian Science nurse. I wish to express my gratitude also for the Board of Directors of The Mother Church.—(Mrs.) Pearl Wadkins, Jamaica, Long Island, New York.
