"Lift up a standard"

Lift up a standard that the world may know
Life, Truth, and Love. And then all men shall go
Courageously, because they understand
That God is Love. If they but take His hand,
The upward path shall clearer, brighter grow.
Lift up a standard for the world to know.

Cast out the stones of hate, and greed, and fear,
Of selfishness and sin. Leave nothing here
To cause mankind to stumble or to fall.
Help them to know that God is Life, is All.
Truth is the Way which all mankind must share.
O men, the highway of your God prepare!

And on this highway every heart shall learn
That God doth overturn and overturn
Until He come, whose right alone it is
To rule, with love, a kingdom wholly His.
No lie may enter here. God's child is free
To walk that upward way rejoicingly.
