Protection

Father, be it day or night,
In the darkness or the light,
May I not forget that Love
Is around, below, above.

Not alone where I may be,
But with all on land and sea;
In the sky, in ocean deep,
Far or near, awake, asleep.
May I rest contentedly,
knowing all are safe in Thee,
And that I, in Love's strong arm,
Safely sheltered am from harm.

Then whatever may draw near,
I can know no doubt, no fear;
But shall find, all unafraid,
Nothing can my peace invade.
