Daily to the Christian Scientist is unfolded the great wisdom reflected by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in the example of her unselfish life, the purity of presentation of her discovery, and the protection provided for the progress, advancement, and growth of her church.

Little does the world perceive what the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon as given in the Christian Science Quarterly means to the student, and how much the progress and welfare of our Cause depend upon careful, prayerful, reverent pondering of the Lesson.

When a Christian Scientist clearly perceives that the only source from which he receives spiritual ideas and direction is God, Mind, he appreciates that he must keep his consciousness filled with truth, for thus he is following the admonition of Isaiah, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God."
