My deep gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy for...
My deep gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy for the great truth she has given to the world through her inspired book, Science and Health, impels me to write this testimony.
For many years I sought spiritual comfort and help through the orthodox churches, with no success. In my extremity a friend lent me his copy of Science and Health. Through the study of this book the truth of spiritual creation and man's relation to God began to dawn upon me. This understanding dispelled the dark clouds of confusion and unbelief lifted my thought to a consciousness of God's everpresent power, and enabled me to see that human ills do not belong to man as God's reflection. Through this uplifted consciousness I have been healed of pneumonia, lumbago, scrotal rupture, and many other ills.
