Christian Science came to my attention through the healing of a friend. It was not so much the physical healing that interested me as the joy and love which this friend began to manifest. She was radiant as with a new-found joy; and, eager to share it with others, she invited me to her home to hear about Christian Science from a more experienced friend.

What I heard that afternoon was enough to convince me that Christian Science was the religion I had long been seeking. I at once procured the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and a Christian Science Quarterly, and began to study in earnest to learn something of God and His spiritual idea, man. I had always loved the Bible, and now the textbook became to me the next most wonderful book in the world.

I am happy to say that my entire family was willing to accept this beautiful truth, and we began at once to use it in our daily living. A case of mumps was healed in three days; and a severe cold, overnight. I myself was under what I termed a nervous strain, and suffered much from extreme fatigue. This condition was completely wiped out.
