There
is perhaps nothing in human experience that suggests more unhappiness than the feeling that one is a stranger, alone, without a home or home ties.
THE
harmony of beautiful voices blending together gives delight to many, and indeed such performances are usually intended to uplift and refresh the listener.
Immediately
preceding the benediction at the conclusion of each Sunday service in a Christian Science church, we hear these assuring words: "The world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
The
prophet Jeremiah, speaking in the name of God, said, "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
To those who have been distressed by unemployment or unsatisfactory employment, Christian Science offers the same heartening assurance and the same assistance that it brings to those who are ill.

Christian Science church and its plan of government was revealed to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and is set forth in the Manual of The Mother Church.
The closing date for the receipt of applications for membership in The Mother Church is now approximately one month in advance of the date of the admission instead of two weeks as heretofore.
