The Open Door

MILDRED NICKERSON HALL

Now to those earnest ones who seek to find
The road that Jesus walked, that they may go
With humble steps that selfsame way, and know
The joys of true discipleship, shall Mind
Reveal this sought-for way. It is a way
That goes, without a turn, straight to its goal.
It lifts the seeking heart from sense to Soul.
And makes the darkness shine as brightest day.

In Christian Science now the key is found
Which opens wide the once unnoticed door
That leads unto this shining way. No more
In fear and doubt man goes. He shall rejoice
And walk in peace, hearing the Father's voice.
He knows the path he treads is holy ground.
