From Letters, Substantially as Published

Recently, wide publicity was given to certain testimony before the Federal Trade Commission regarding the healing efficacy of certain drugs. In the testimony several statements were made about Christian Science which were not accurate, and I shall appreciate your courtesy if I may correct these statements through the columns of your newspaper.

One statement was made that "Christian Science . . . is not an effective method over any long period of time." Facts successfully refute this testimony of the physician, for thousands who have been healed of disease by Christian Science have continued to remain well. One not knowing of the healing work of Christian Science is in no position to qualify as a witness.
