For more than twenty years Christian Science has been my only physician and my guide—the Comforter to which I have turned in every need and never in vain. When I first began the study of this Science, I could not read English, but a neighbor offered to read the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly with me, a kindness for which I was very grateful. Christ, Truth, has shown me that all good comes from God alone; that God is Love, and Love has all power. Love has given me everything I need and has taught me that the more I give, the more I receive.

A number of years ago I fell against a hot stove, and sustained a severe burn on my arm, but the truth was declared, and the wound healed very quickly, leaving no scar. At another time, a lump appeared on my arm which looked like an abnormal growth. It grew rapidly, but I kept declaring that I did not have to accept this any more than any other sense of pain or inharmony, and before long the lump and soreness entirely disappeared.

At another time, I experienced pain in my left breast. I denied the error, but fear crept in. For several years I was unable to lie on my left side. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, and after a time this difficulty likewise vanished.
