Gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me prompts me to give this testimony.

Through the reading of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was lifted out of the depths of sorrow and sickness thirty-one years ago. I had been a victim of a serious kidney condition, and the only freedom medical science could offer was the removal of one kidney. No removal ever took place, thanks to the teaching of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am now expressing health, and rejoicing that I am whole.

I had another opportunity to know that God's love never fails when we depend absolutely on Him. I had been knocked down by an automobile and thrown some thirty feet or more, but I was able to rise instantly, conscious that all was well. I allowed no physical examination whatsoever. After giving all information necessary to the policeman, I was driven home, and prepared myself for bed. My only remedy was Science and Health, which I read until I fell asleep. I experienced no pain whatsoever, although a bone was protruding at my elbow. In the morning I awoke after a peaceful night, and was able to rise and go about my work. In a few days, when I reached out to help pick up a coat which had fallen, the bone snapped back into place. In less than a week my arm was completely healed. Not for one moment was I unable to express normal action.
