It is with the deepest gratitude that I write this testimony

It is with the deepest gratitude that I write this testimony. For the past twelve years I have studied Christian Science and depended on it for healings. There have been many and varied proofs of its healing power, but I realize now that the argument always presented itself, "Maybe you would have recovered anyway," or "Perhaps you were not really so ill as you thought you were." However, I considered Science a beautiful religion and was grateful for the changed concept it had given me of God.

I feel I can now say with Job, "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee," for when the person I loved best in all the world passed on, and I found I could realize that there is no death, I had my proof. No argument could hide the healing from me in this case. Through feeling and knowing the oneness of Mind there has been no sense of separation. How true are these words of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy (Science and Health, p. 14): "Sorrow is turned into joy when the body is controlled by spiritual Life, Truth, and Love"!

I am sincerely grateful for every avenue of Christian Science, and my daily prayer is that I may be able to help others as a practitioner helped me. Without the light he gave me I should, indeed, have walked through the shadow of death.—(Mrs.) Mildred Sapp, Edinburg, Texas.
