With a happy and grateful heart I can testify that Christian Science has met my every need since early childhood. It has been my only physician, and we have had many proofs in our home of its healing power.

I have seen a badly sprained ankle healed in one day. A crochet hook, which was run into a thumb, was so deeply embedded that it seemed impossible to remove it without having a physician cut it out. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and a firm declaration of the truth was made, whereupon the hook loosened and came out easily.

I am most grateful for the peace and comfort which were mine at the time of the passing of one who was very dear. At the moment of her passing, the following passage from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 264) came to my thought as clearly as if it had been spoken: "Spiritual living and blessedness are the only evidences, by which we can recognize true existence and feel the unspeakable peace which comes from an all-absorbing spiritual love." the realization came very clearly to me that the qualities which the loved one expressed—patience, gentleness, humility, and love—were spiritual, hence eternal. With this clear realization, I was not only lifted above a sense of separation, but experienced "the unspeakable peace which comes from an all-absorbing spiritual love." To the practitioner who stood so faithfully by me during this testing time, I shall always be grateful.
