Infinite Possibilities

One of the great blessings which Christian Science brings to the seeker is release from the belief that he is necessarily limited in his achievements. Throughout the centuries nearly everyone has accepted the belief that each one is restricted to particular ways of earning a living, to certain attainments, educational, social, political, and economical. All of these are false claims of so-called mortal mind, which can be destroyed by the realization of the divine fact that God's man has infinite possibilities for good.

"Man is God's image and likeness; whatever is possible to God, is possible to man as God's reflection," writes Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, on page 183 of "Miscellaneous Writings." This is an inspired statement, the understanding of which will release one from the limitations which mortal belief would place upon him on every hand.

Through an understanding of this spiritual fact the business man, struggling with responsibility and a limited sense of opportunity, is released from fear and worry. He learns that in reflecting God one finds the intelligence and the wisdom necessary to conduct one's business profitably and progressively, and the necessary human footsteps in the management of his business unfold day by day. The true understanding of divine substance, Spirit, is adequate to meet all his needs. The divine ideas which are continually unfolding to him will enable him truly to progress.
