Aransas Pass, Texas (Society).—On Sunday, December 10, 1939, Christian Science Society of Aransas Pass, free from all debt, was dedicated to the service of Christianity. The church was well filled by members and friends.

The subject of the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly was "God the Preserver of Man." The following history of Christian Science Society, Aransas Pass, was read.

On January 6, 1931, a band of Christian Science students met to discuss the possibility of organizing a Christian Science Society.

Application was made to The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, for permission to organize. On January 20, 1931, a favorable answer was received. All instructions in accordance with Article XXIII, Sections 6 and 7, of the Church Manual were obeyed, and the first service was held on February 4, 1931, in the Woman's Club building.

In the year 1935, it was decided to build a church, and on July 1 of the same year the membership moved into the new church home with gratitude and humbleness of spirit.
