Lecturer: Paul A. Harsch; introduced by Mrs. Sara H. Woodman, who said:—

Jesus was the greatest exponent of spiritual law who ever trod this planet. The law of God always operated in his behalf. Did you ever think how wholly different an experience it would have been had Jesus said to the man with the withered hand. "Stretch forth thy hand," and nothing had happened; or to the impotent man, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk," and nothing had happened; or to Lazarus, "Come forth," and nothing had happened? But such eventualities were impossible in the presence of Jesus' knowledge of God's law.
