Heaven Within

It spoke so soft and clear;
And when I asked where Love might be,
It gently whispered, Here!

I saw an inward light,

And when I faced this light divine,
All sin and sorrow fled.

I felt an inward peace,
Once lost but now refound;
And as I prayed I knew again
That heaven is all around.
