Love
came today
And brought me inspiration,
And lifted me
From sorrow and from pain.
Love came to heal!
With tender reassurance
To waken thought,
Sense-bound, to light again.
With gentle touch
Ungrateful tears have vanished.
I see the real,
All that divinely is.
Through opened doors
I glimpse the Life abundant—
Love came today
And took my hand in His.
