Because I am humbly grateful for Christian Science I...
Because I am humbly grateful for Christian Science I wish to express my deep appreciation of it.
Christian Science has never failed me when honestly applied. Sometimes it has seemed that the demonstration was delayed; and many lessons in humility, love, kindness, patience, and unselfed love have had to be learned. One healing has been accomplished of a condition which extended over a period of many years and seemed to produce much suffering. I see clearly now that during this time much spiritual growth was taking place: fear was being destroyed, greater love was expressed, a firmer faith and trust in God was established, and harmony and peace were being demonstrated in our home. During this time a clearer sense of supply and employment was gained, and now I can truly say that I am grateful from my heart for this experience.
I am grateful, too, for the Christian Science Sunday School, which my two children were privileged to attend from the time they were very small. After arriving at the age of twenty years they became active workers in the local branch of The Mother Church, where they have had the opportunity in the Sunday school to teach other children the same truth which they learned and have proved for themselves many times.
