Notice

The Christian Science Wartime Committee of The Mother Church in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has informed us that it is gratefully accepting gifts of knitted articles for men serving in the British Forces. This Committee is also receiving wool for making garments, as well as new, warm clothing for men, women, and children whose homes and property have been destroyed, and it endeavors to distribute the articles of clothing, whether knitted or otherwise, to the best possible advantage.

The Christian Science War Relief Committee in Boston has opened a depot at 235–237 Huntington Avenue, adjacent to the park in front of The Mother Church edifices, and new goods for the purposes designated are being received there and prepared for shipment to the Committee in London, England.

Christian Scientists in the United States will welcome the opportunity to engage in this useful activity and to send their contributions through the channel provided by these committees. Committees of Christian Scientists in the localities of branch churches and societies, as well as informal groups and individuals, in this country, may send to the War Relief Committee in Boston, for forwarding to the Wartime Committee in England, clean, new clothing that is warm, knitted articles for men serving in the land, sea, or air forces, or wool for use in making such articles. The packages should be securely wrapped and sent by mail or express prepaid to The Christian Science War Relief Committee, 237 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts.
