I have received many blessings through the healing power of Christian Science. From early childhood I enjoyed the invaluable blessing of attending the Christian Science Sunday School. This teaching aided me at an early age to use the healing truths which are to be gained from the study of the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Many times during this period I was healed of pain by quickly turning to our well-loved "scientific statement of being," as found on page 468 of Science and Health.

My mother, sister, and I were healed in a short time of an aggravated skin disease known as Spanish itch. For the loving help given to us at this time by a Christian Science practitioner I am truly grateful.

As a young child I was troubled by frightening night dreams, and suffered from broken rest and a sense of exhaustion. After Christian Science came into our home the healing of this trouble went steadily forward. However, while still in Sunday school I had not yet experienced complete freedom, so I decided to take a positive stand for the truth, as we are taught in Christian Science, and it further unfolded to me that a perfect healing must be expected. I reasoned that, since God is good and brings only harmonious conditions to His children, this discordant situation was no part of God's perfect reflection. By my persistently declaring and realizing the truth of this statement in our textbook (p. 249), "God never slumbers, and His likeness never dreams," the healing was soon accomplished and has been permanent.
