It is with a sense of deep gratitude for Christian Science...

It is with a sense of deep gratitude for Christian Science, and also a desire to help others, that I relate this testimony of healing.

Just before the outbreak of hostilities, and when the air seemed full of fears, suspicions, and rumors, a septic condition affected my eyes. I tried to help myself, as we are taught in Christian Science, but since the condition grew worse I decided to ask for help from a practitioner. This was lovingly given, and it was not long before I realized that it was my fear and anxiety over the international situation that was responsible for the discordant condition. The practitioner told me to cease looking at a muddled, sick world and to look out on God's spiritual universe with a clear vision. This thought came like a ray of light into my consciousness, and very soon the condition vanished. I am very grateful for this experience, because it has helped me so much during the trying months that have since passed.

What a debt of gratitude we owe to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us this wonderful truth! Words can never express my sincere thanks for all the blessings which have come into our home through the study of Christian Science.
