My heart overflows with sincere gratitude for all that Christian Science has done and is doing for me. During the last sixteen years, when I have conscientiously and consistently applied its teachings, it has met my every need.

The healings I have received have been many, for it has met not only the more pressing needs, but also the numerous situations that arise daily. I have had many instantaneous healings, while others have taken much study and application of the truth on my part, and sometimes I have been aided by a consecrated practitioner.

Among the healings I want to mention is that of astigmatism, for which I had worn glasses of increasing strength since the age of four. The last specialist I consulted told me that my sight was gradually failing, and that I would be blind within three months. This was about nine years ago, and today my sight is normal. The healing was gradual, because I had to learn in a degree to forget my personal problem in serving others. This healing finally took place during the time I was privileged to serve as an associate of The Christian Science Benevolent Association in San Francisco. There I saw many beautiful healings of various forms of discord take place. Two of the most precious things that this experience taught me were that Christian Science can overcome any and every form of error, whatever it may call itself, and that time is no factor in Christian Science healing.
