While I was living in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1907, Christian Science was brought to me in an hour of need. The next day I was to go into the hospital for the third time. I had lost two babies, and the doctors had said it was impossible for me to give birth to a living child, and that I could not avoid much suffering. But a dear friend came and told me about Christian Science, and brought a practitioner out to see me, and three weeks afterward the baby was born with no trouble at all. I felt well and strong, and got up. I am very grateful for this experience. Since then I have had five children, born with Christian Science help. And I have not stayed in bed from illness, taken a drop of medicine, or been attended by a doctor for thirty-one years.
I was also healed of rheumatism in one treatment by a practitioner, and was healed of headaches and of corns by reading Science and Health.
I have seen croup, smallpox, infantile paralysis, measles, pneumonia, sprained ankle, neuritis, kidney trouble, boils, broken bone in the wrist, and other ailments healed through this wonderful truth.
