Since you so kindly published my recent letter, a correspondent has again referred in your columns to Christian Science in connection with astrology.

The light to which Mary Baker Eddy repeatedly refers is the light of spiritual understanding, and she herself expressed that light clearly. In Christian Science all reality is spiritual, and Spirit cannot commingle with matter.

Christian Science rests on the Holy Scriptures, these very Scriptures in which we read (Isaiah 60:19), "The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory."
