It is with deep gratitude that I add my testimony of healing, and bear witness to the sustaining power of Christian Science, hoping that it will help others as I have been helped by reading various testimonies.

When all material remedies had failed, I did not care to live any longer because I thought there was nothing for which to live. After I had suffered many years and undergone an operation which afforded only temporary relief, and after the doctors had done all they knew to do, a dear sister who had been reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, asked me to try Christian Science. She said it would not hurt me even if it did not help, so I agreed. There were no Christian Scientists where we lived at that time, so a practitioner was called over the long-distance telephone. In three days the healing was complete. I was so happy that I wanted to know more about the truth which had healed me. I went to the town where this practitioner lived to attend church and learn more about Truth.

That was twenty years ago, Christian Science, when rightly applied, has met my every need ever since. I have been healed of diphtheria, sick headache, constipation, for which I had taken medicine all my life, influenza, colds, ptomaine poisoning, burns, injuries received in three accidents, grief occasioned by the passing on of loved ones, and many other discordant conditions. I am deeply grateful for these healings.
