I am very grateful to Christian Science. For a year and a half I suffered more than words can tell. During that time I had eleven doctors, but none of them helped me, and finally they said they could do no more for me. The trouble started with a pain at the base of the spine, which later went down to my leg. One of the doctors X-rayed me and said I had a tumor on the base of the spine which was causing this pain, and that an operation was necessary. I consented to the operation, and was in a hospital for a few weeks, but when I was taken home again even worse pain attacked me. I was given narcotics, but their effect wore off. I was X-rayed again, and the doctors said I had arthritis in the worst form. I was confined to my bed and could not walk; in fact, I was helpless.

A friend who is a Christian Scientist came to see me and left a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel for me to read. This showed me that the real and only power is God, Truth. I sent for a practitioner, and in a short time I was completely healed, enjoying good health. I certainly shall be very happy if my testimony helps someone who may be suffering as I suffered.
