It is with sincere gratitude that I can say, Christian Science...
It is with sincere gratitude that I can say, Christian Science never leaves us where it found us.
My husband and I turned to Christian Science when I was told by a specialist that our little boy, who was four years old, would never talk. I am happy to say he now talks freely. In fact, there are times when I wish he would give us a chance to say something! I am grateful that he is expressing his God-given dominion and is now able to attend a school advertised in our daily newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor.
Shortly after I took up the study of Christian Science, the little boy turned the wringer of the washing machine while my attention was averted. Much to my surprise, when I heard a scream I found his arm had gone through up to his shoulder. After releasing the wringer and seeing the condition of his arm I decided that a visit to a near-by practitioner would do us both good. We had just moved to another state and knew no one at the time. I am thankful for The Christian Science Journal, which I referred to in choosing a practitioner in my hour of need. This was on a Monday, and on Wednesday I attended a testimony meeting. On my return I found the child with his arm bent under his head, sleeping peacefully. I am grateful for this demonstration.
