In a recent issue there appeared an article under the heading "Healing the Sick.
In your issue of October 6, a correspondent tells of a lady who suffered from a trying affliction, was miserable and difficult to live with, but who through the ministrations of Christian Science lost her misery and became peaceful, happy, and contented.
In an article by a clergyman it was gratifying to read the admission that "Christian Science has made many people feel happier and better.
Christian Scientists will have read with much interest the account given in a recent edition of the Methodist Conference at Bradford, at which the question of spiritual healing was considered, and the instances given of healing through prayer are particularly gratifying and helpful.
Interviews with newspapermen of the Midlothian papers have nearly always met with a ready response, frequently from the editor in person, and the attitude of these gentlemen is friendly, while a number show real interest.

For several years The Christian Science Board of Directors has been endeavoring to complete for the archives of The Mother Church three sets of all the editions of all the editions of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Over twenty years ago, I was visiting my parents in Kansas.
I am sincerely and humbly grateful for Christian Science.
In humility, and with sincere gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I wish to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
Christian Science has been my only physician for the past twenty years, and I am offering this testimony of healing from a heart filled with gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy for giving to the world the greatest discovery since Jesus' time, and in such a complete and simple way that all may understand and put it into practice in their everyday living.
It is with gratitude for the testimonies in the periodicals, which I have long enjoyed, that I add mine.
Many years ago Christian Science was presented to me, but at that time I was not interested and would not listen.
About eight years ago, when I first listened to testimonies of healing in Christian Science, great joy came over me.
It is with sincere gratitude that I can say, Christian Science never leaves us where it found us.
May I lovingly say to those who are struggling with a prolonged healing, that Love never fails if we only maintain the courage to cling steadfastly to God.
