"Freely ye have received, freely give"

O teach, me, Lord, I pray,
To give to Thine, as Thou hast given to me!

Forgive, O God, the careless gesture made
In passing pity. Rather let me know
That heart so filled with love that pity's voice
Is silenced by the grandeur of the truth
That God gives all to all. Then, on the tide
Of Love's abundant grace, to bear to Thine
For Thee, Thy gracious gospel—Life and Truth—
So each may know his own rich heritage.

O Lord, I pray that I
May give to Thine as Thou hast given to me!
