It is with a sense of deep gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who brought Christian Science to mankind, that I should like to testify to a beautiful healing that came to me in the year 1932—a healing of impaired sight.

I needed glasses, so I consulted an eye specialist and had examinations and treatments for at least one year. One day, when I went for an examination, the doctor told me that nothing but an operation would save me, as I was losing my sight very rapidly. For a moment I was very much disturbed. Then I told the doctor that I could not consent to an operation. He told me to think it over. When I left his office the thought came very clearly to me that God is All-in-all, and if God is Life, Truth, and Love, I was reflecting perfect sight. I then telephoned to my husband and related the case to him, and he said that we would see a practitioner that evening. So that evening we called on the practitioner. After a little talk with her, we started treatment. During the four months of treatment, my sight was completely restored and has been normal ever since.

For this healing words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God, to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to the practitioner for all her loving help. I am also very grateful for all the other beautiful healings that have come to me and to my dear ones; for the love, peace, and harmony in our home; also for the spiritual uplifting and the literature. I have learned to know God better, and to love Him more.—(Mrs.) Annie Wessel, San Rafael, California.
