Twenty years ago I was led to Christian Science. While reading Science and Health I was healed of indigestion.

Continuing my study of the textbook, I learned to love and understand Jesus as I had never done before. I had always been brought up to believe that Jesus was God. His works I thought were very beautiful, but I did not see where his works were any example to me, as he was God and did not know what temptation was. My reading showed me that Jesus was not God. I learned through the study of Science and Health, with the Bible, that every suggestion of error that could ever come to me had come to Jesus while he was in the wilderness. There he proved the nothingness of any power apart from God, and that proof gave him divine authority to teach and heal as he did. Christian Science gave me a practical religion, because it helped me to find my Father-Mother God, my Saviour, and my true self.

Through the application of Christian Science I have received many healings, among them those of chicken pox, headaches, ovarian trouble, catarrh, pneumonia, and the inability to walk. I do not know what doctors would have called the last-mentioned difficulty.
