Over six years ago several doctors who had examined me said that I had cancer of the breast. They all advised me to have an operation. Finally, I consulted still another eminent surgeon, a head professor at the Zurich Canton hospital. He, too, advised an immediate operation, and even set the day.

My condition seemed to me hepeless, for I felt and knew that medical skill could not help me, and furthermore I had neither the courage nor the strength for an operation. In this great need it came to me like a revelation, Only Christian Science can help you. It was an inspiration from God, for I knew very little of this Science. I acted on this thought immediately and received ready aid and comfort from a kind practitioner. I began at once to study deeply the book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and was wonderfully comforted. The faithful work of the practitioner brought about my healing in approximately three weeks. Three doctors and also the professor, who inquired about me, admitted the healing. I then learned that the doctors had considered my case very serious.

I have now become an earnest worker in Christian Science and my daily prayer is to grow in understanding that I may be able to show others what the Christ Science has done and continues to do for me.
