Many healings have taken place in the years that I have studied and applied Christian Science, including healings of ptomaine poisoning, sprained ankle and wrist, and severe burns from hot fat. A skin eruption on my face was healed instantly when I was able to change my thinking concerning a fellow workman. While working in a shell plant this man came to the bench at which I worked to borrow, and I would see him as a parasite instead of as God's perfect spiritual idea. The skin eruption manifested itself on my face. God lovingly revealed to me the error in my thinking, and instantly I was free. I am grateful for a change of disposition from one of criticism and quick temper to one of more loving patience.

I owe a great debt of gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. Her book "Unity of Good" has proved a big comfort when the way has seemed dark. I am also grateful for The Christian Science Board of Directors, for all our periodicals, and for our faithful practitioners.
