Eastern Daily Press

I read a certain person's remarks in yesterday's Press about spirituality and art with great interest and as a welcome sign of the times. It will interest him and some of your readers to know that an ever-increasing body of people, including many representatives of the arts, habitually turn to God, first and only, for the healing not only of sin but of disease, lack, unemployment, grief, and all the ills "that flesh is heir to." In thus proving by demonstration the truth of the many Bible promises in this respect they are doing nothing illegal, but are obeying the immutable law of God as set forth in the First Commandment: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." These people are known as Christian Scientists.
