Christian Science was presented to me on a crowded streetcar at a time when I needed it most. I read its literature for several years, thinking the religion very beautiful, but I did not believe that it could heal me of illness, as I had always been taught to take drugs and thought it impossible to get along without them.

Several years went by, and then proof came when I was very quickly healed of gallstones through the help of a practitioner. A few months after that my little girl was healed of scarlet fever, and a little later of blood poisoning. I am very grateful to say that not a shadow of doubt that Christian Science could heal was left in my thought.
