I read in your issue of March 19 a letter entitled "Fallacies of Christian Science," which gives an erroneous impression of Christian Science and its Discovere and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy.

Christian Science bases its statements of man's perfection upon the spiritual, scientific account of creation in the first chapter of Genesis, wherein man is stated to be the image and likeness of God. It reasons logically on the spiritual selfhood of man and his unity with God, as our Master, Christ Jesus, taught. Speaking of man's eternal spiritual nature, the great Teacher said, "The kingdom of God is within you;" and Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 303), "But the statement that man is conceived and evolved both spiritually and materially, or by both God and man, contradicts this eternal truth."

Christian Science reveals that physical man is the result of the Adam-dream, as hypothetical as the existence of matter, and is awakening men and women from the bondage that the flesh is heir to.
