When I began the study of Christian Science, in 1900, I was lifted from a life of invalidism into one of useful activity. A physical condition, which physicians had said was incurable, was healed and normal action resulted. In the years that have followed I have relied on Christian Science for help in every way.

Through many changes, it has found us pleasant homes in strange countries, protected us in storms at sea, and in fire and earthquake on land. At the time of an earthquake, it brought us out of a sense of great loss into God's abundant good. It has healed sorrows and blessed us in every way, and in sincere gratitude I am trying each day better to apply the preciious truths it teaches.
