At a time when little hope was offered for my recovery from a condition caused by childbirth, and when no hope was given for the child, I was lovingly offered Christian Science by a dear friend. My gratitude goes out to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner and for the beautiful healing that followed for myself and the child.

Christian Science has been a constant benefactor for many years in my family, consisting of my husband, three children, and myself. Another case which demanded immediate attention was that of a child strangling from swallowing gasoline. From all appearances the child had passed on, but through steadfast reliance on God he was healed. The child's breath, however, continued to smell of gasoline for several days. Another child, who had been subject to spasms, was quickly and permanently healed through the declaration of the truth as taught in Christian Science. With the help of a practitioner, a severe case of blood poisoning was healed overnight.
